Important information for students and parents

Dear Parents/Guardians/Students,
As the new school year is fast upon us, I am sensitive to the many questions you may have. You will find a document outlining the detailed protocols that will be in place when classes resume on August 31st at the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V28P8_K5h6EEj-63mmDdDI0DWmsPIPAV/view?usp=sharing. As mentioned in the communications last week, we continue to work on the third reorganization of the school, trying our best to provide students with as many of their desired and necessary classes while respecting the most recent government directives. Unfortunately, despite all efforts, many concessions were required and we are aware that it may be disappointing for many students.
In addition to the protocols you will also find the Progressive Entry schedule for Alexander Galt: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ctFHFZZsLNCI98N9dExovcegf8EE5k5V/view?usp=drivesdk In the best interest of receiving students in a manner that permits all to become accustomed to the new realities of school, we will be applying a progressive entry model. Thus, there will be an opportunity for students to reintegrate to school and become familiar with the new routines with fewer people present at one time. For Monday through Wednesday, students are only to come to school on the day(s) indicated in the attached schedule. Thursday, September 3rd will be the first common day of classes for all levels.
The student schedules will be available in the portal as soon as possible before Monday. Please continue to verify the portal. Should by any chance the schedule not be available on the portal, rest assured that we will receive the student upon their arrival on their designated start date and provide them with their schedule at that time.
Thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding,
Peggy McCourt
